Funraisers Dragon Boat Events raise over one million pounds!

2007 marks a momentous occasion as Funraisers, working in conjunction with Dragon Boat Events Ltd. smash through the One Million Pounds funds raised barrier!

Funraisers, run by Pip & Judi Lightbody (left) are based in the south of England and are one of the country's leading charity events organisations. They have been organising dragon boat events for the last ten years to help raise money for local and national charities and schools.

Working closly with Dragon Boat Events Ltd., Funraisers most successful event is the annual Funraisers Dragon Boat Festival held on Bewl Water in Kent - now the largest dragon boat festival in Europe.

In addition to the event on Bewl Water, Funraisers also organise events in Sherbourne (Dorest), Teddington Lock, Cardiff and Bristol. This year, with the figures from Bewl Water now in, Funraisers have now managed to raise a collective total of over £1,000,000 for charity from their dragon boat events and associated land based activities!
